Ignacio Brache, a Spanish teacher for many years, brought a special sweet bread to school where students could purchase “Brache Bread.” Señor Brache was well-loved and the pan dulce became synonymous with his presence.  Brache Bread became a regular item on campus and all of the proceeds were delivered straight to the missions department. All the money earned from Brache Bread went directly to helping students travel on missions trips to other countries where they could experience different cultures and help the local community. Señor Brache traveled on countless missions trips throughout his career, visiting Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, and many other places, encouraging young people to be bold in their faith, humble in their servitude, and generous in their spirit.
